Product Carbon Footprint

The European Power Tool Association is conscious of its environmental responsibility and is very supportive of all actions taken either voluntarily or through legislation to improve the environmental performance of its products.

EPTA established a project group and the support of a well established international consultant with the focus to identify, develop and implement the appropriate PCF calculation methodology for electric power tools.

Members of the working group analyzed the situation on an international level to broaden their knowledge and to make sure that the most appropriate methodology for the future was chosen.
